Sales Manager – Lease Optimization

Our client is expanding a high-visibility lease optimization function and is looking for a people-first sales leader who can help scale production, strengthen team accountability, and support the next phase of growth. Focus
- Lead a distributed team of lease optimization professionals, guiding daily production, coaching performance, and reinforcing strong execution habits
- Run recurring pipeline reviews, remove roadblocks in active negotiations, and help the team keep opportunities moving toward close
- Serve as an escalation point for complex landlord conversations and provide a steady second voice on sensitive deal strategy
- Use activity metrics and outcome trends to hold consultants accountable to goals while building a positive, high-performance culture
- Partner with senior leadership on onboarding, workflow improvements, and practical coaching methods that increase team output
- Support a national lease consulting function tied to wireless infrastructure, telecom agreements, or adjacent real estate negotiations
- Coach roughly 8 to 12 individual contributors in a fast-moving production environment with a strong emphasis on consistency and follow-through
- Help create a collaborative team setting where best practices, responsiveness, and continuous improvement are expected
Skill Set
- Background in telecom lease optimization, wireless site agreements, tower leasing, or a closely related specialty
- Experience leading producers, negotiators, or account teams where performance is measured by throughput, quality, and results
- Comfort coaching rising talent, giving direct feedback, and helping strong individual contributors take the next step
- Working knowledge of CRM tools, reporting dashboards, and standard business software used to manage team activity
- Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and an ability to stay organized across multiple active priorities
- Confidence navigating nuanced conversations, managing escalations, and keeping teams aligned to deadlines and goals
- A practical, hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance accountability and encouragement
- Prior experience in a production-focused telecom, infrastructure, or network real estate setting is strongly preferred
