Lighting Specification Sales Rep
Location: Remote – United States (candidates must reside in the Central Time Zone or surrounding states)
Travel: 50 % travel for client visits, industry events, and factory training.

As the face of the brand to architects, lighting designers, landscape architects, and electrical engineers, you will champion high-performance luminaires that transform spaces nationwide while enjoying the flexibility of a remote role and the backing of a world-class product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate long-term relationships with design firms and engineering consultants, positioning premium exterior and interior luminaires on project specifications and bid packages.
- Partner with a network of independent rep agencies across a broad multi-state region to generate demand, track pipeline activity, and exceed revenue targets.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, CEU presentations, and virtual learning sessions that highlight lighting trends, controls integration, and sustainability best practices.
- Provide consultative guidance from concept through commissioning, coordinating mock-ups, samples, and post-install support to ensure flawless project execution.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and territory plans in CRM, analyze market insights, and relay feedback to product management for future innovations.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–5 years of B2B sales experience (lighting, electrical, building materials, or design services) with a proven ability to grow relationships and close complex deals.
- Natural curiosity and business acumen with the drive to master technical lighting products and controls.
- Self-starter mindset; comfortable working remotely, prioritizing travel (~50 %), and managing a multi-state geography with rep support.
- Polished presentation, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills; proficiency with CRM and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
