Director of Field Services
Location: On-site | Dallas Fort Worth, TX (30 percent U.S. travel)

Key Responsibilities
- Champion regional field service excellence by coaching and empowering Area Service Managers and their teams in a safety-first, continuous-improvement culture.
- Serve as the senior technical escalation point for AC ⁄ DC power, battery backup, and generator projects in central offices, data centers, and other mission-critical facilities.
- Partner with nationwide subcontractors to scope, quote, and execute projects on time, on budget, and with minimal risk.
- Own utilization, productivity, SLA adherence, backlog health, response time, and gross margin for a multi-million-dollar services P&L.
- Harvest and share best practices across regions, building a learning organization that continuously raises the bar.
- Travel up to 30 percent to customer sites across the United States for job walks, kick-offs, audits, and client relationship management.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 plus years leading multi-site or multi-region field service teams in critical infrastructure, power, or industrial services.
- 8+ years of experience in high-availability power systems, specializing in telecom hubs, data centers, or similar always-on environments.
- Hands-on expertise with central-office AC ⁄ DC power plants, rectifiers, inverters, batteries, and generators; fluent in reading single-line diagrams, construction drawings, and customer standards.
- Proven success negotiating with subcontractors on electrical, HVAC, and mechanical scopes of work.
- Working knowledge of NEC, Telcordia, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
Preferred
- Experience managing service P&L (revenue, margin, forecasting) at the multi-million-dollar level.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Workfront, or similar field-service and project-management platforms.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous-improvement certification.
