VP of Marketing (CPG/Consumer Health)

A trailblazing, mission-driven leader in the consumer health and wellness space is looking for an accomplished marketing executive to lead its brand strategy and promotional efforts. This is a high-impact role within a rapidly growing company renowned for its innovative approach to health-conscious consumer products. The incoming VP of Marketing will spearhead all marketing, communications, and brand-building initiatives, directly shaping public perception and long-term growth strategy.
As a member of the executive team reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will oversee a dynamic marketing department, collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and digital teams, and elevate brand positioning across B2B and B2C channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with executive leadership to establish a cohesive marketing vision that aligns with company-wide strategic goals.
- Develop and execute multi-channel brand strategies to drive market penetration and brand equity in the natural consumer health and wellness market.
- Oversee all internal and external communications, public relations, advertising, and content creation initiatives.
- Lead the creation of promotional tools and campaigns for new product launches, customer engagement, and trade show events.
- Guide competitive and market research efforts, translating insights into actionable marketing strategies and customer segmentation models.
- Measure and report on the ROI of all marketing initiatives, ensuring optimization of budgets and resources.
- Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team while managing external agency relationships (e.g., PR, creative, research).
- Collaborate with digital and eCommerce leadership to synchronize go-to-market strategies and online presence.
- Assist with business development projects and contribute to expansion efforts through strategic marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of senior-level marketing leadership experience, ideally within CPG, consumer health, or wellness-related industries.
- Proven track record of building brand strategies that drive measurable growth across both retail and digital platforms.
- Deep knowledge of consumer behavior, competitive positioning, and digital marketing tools.
- Strong leadership and people development skills, with experience guiding marketing teams and cross-functional partners.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a sharp eye for brand storytelling and visual identity.
- Familiarity with product development, promotional campaigns, and navigating compliance within regulated consumer sectors.
