Senior Solutions Engineer – Procurement & Supply Chain Tech

Location: Tampa Bay or East Coast Remote with Travel to Tampa Bay Florida

The Role

As Senior Solutions Architect / Technical Lead, you will:

• Lead architecture and hands-on delivery of our cloud-native platform.
• Build and mentor a development team soon after onboarding.
• Partner with product leadership to design scalable features and integrations.
• Set the technical standards and practices that will define our engineering culture.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone ready to deliver product, grow a team, and scale a company from its earliest stages.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable SaaS applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and modern frameworks.
• Develop ETL pipelines and relational data models to support data-driven insights.
• Integrate with leading ERP suites (SAP Ariba, Coupa, NetSuite, Oracle SCM) via REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and event-driven services.
• Drive cloud infrastructure strategy across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement DevOps best practices: containers, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• Mentor junior developers and lead a growing team as the company scales.
• Collaborate with leadership to align technical execution with business goals.

Qualifications

Required:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2+ years in a technical leadership / solutions architect role.
• Proven track record of delivering cloud-native applications in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Expertise with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Django, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of ERP integration (SAP Ariba, Coupa, NetSuite, Oracle SCM).
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, containerization, IaC, CI/CD, and data pipeline design.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or FinTech SaaS.
• Experience building and scaling engineering teams from scratch.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and microservices.
