Industrial Equipment Technician
Our client is a growing custom equipment manufacturer adding a hands on technician who enjoys building complex machinery, solving mechanical challenges, and seeing a project through from assembly to installation. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants visible impact, steady variety in the work, and the chance to support both shop builds and field installations in a practical, team oriented environment. The role aligns with the uploaded millwright brief and intake notes, including blueprint reading, rigging, hydraulic and pneumatic work, troubleshooting, and about 20 percent travel.
The strongest candidates will bring a practical, hands on manufacturing background and confidence working around large mechanical systems. This team values builders, self starters, and people who are comfortable in a fast moving production environment.

Focus:
· Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and assembly instructions
· Assemble industrial machinery and equipment with a strong focus on fit, alignment, and mechanical accuracy
· Install motors and related mechanical components used in custom equipment builds
· Work with hydraulics and pneumatics during assembly, setup, and troubleshooting
· Operate forklifts and support safe movement of large components using rigging and overhead cranes
· Troubleshoot mechanical issues during build, test, startup, and installation activities
· Support equipment installation and service work at customer sites, with travel around 20 percent
· Partner closely with engineering and production teams to keep projects moving on schedule
· Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow sound shop practices throughout the build process
Skill Set:
· Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
· Background in mechanical assembly of industrial machinery or equipment
· Rigging experience
· Overhead crane experience
· Forklift experience
· Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
· Motor installation experience
· Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
· Ability to work independently and contribute as part of a team
· Welding, fabrication, electrical troubleshooting, or machine installation experience is helpful but not required
