Location: Remote (U.S.) – preference for professionals based in the Southeast or South-Central regions

Ignite your career with an industry-leading lighting and building-controls solutions provider that is shaping smarter, more sustainable spaces nationwide. As our new Project Manager, you'll oversee intricate lighting-controls projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and top-notch results for our clients and partners. Collaborate with a dynamic team that's scaling fast, where your technical expertise, customer focus, and organizational skills will have a direct impact on driving profits and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Objectives

  • Enter sales and purchase orders in the ERP system, track variances, and drive each project to accurate, on-time final invoicing.
  • Own the construction schedule: coordinate material releases, drop-ship logistics, and freight claims to keep every milestone on track and within margin targets.
  • Prepare complete submittal packages (cut sheets, wiring diagrams, one-lines, and stamped drawings) and secure stakeholder approvals.
  • Generate and price change orders, obtain customer authorization, and document scope adjustments in real time.
  • Maintain neatly organized digital project files, RFIs, and action logs to ensure full transparency across sales, design, and field teams.
  • Collaborate with factories and field technicians to resolve RGA, warranty, and commissioning issues quickly and professionally.
  • Support basic lighting-layout and controls-design tasks using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
  • Continually expand product expertise through vendor webinars, factory visits, and self-driven research so you remain the go-to resource for emerging technology.

Core Qualifications

  • 2+ years managing commercial or industrial lighting or electrical projects, with demonstrated controls exposure.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and solid working knowledge of ERP/CRM systems; Bluebeam or AutoCAD a bonus.
  • Strong quantitative skills and comfort with take-offs, BOM analysis, and job costing.
  • Proven customer-service mindset with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to contractors, engineers, and end users.
  • Travel-ready for occasional trainings or key project site visits (generally <10 percent).

Preferred Experience

  • Preferred experience with a manufacturer's representative, electrical distributor, energy service company (ESCO), or controls integration firm.
  • Familiarity with leading networked-controls platforms, DLC/NLC requirements, and current energy-code mandates.
  • Exposure to IES, LEED, or WELL certification processes.

Comprehensive Benefits

  • Competitive base salary plus discretionary bonus opportunities.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage from day one.
  • Life insurance fully covered by the company, with the option to purchase additional coverage
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays.

Why Work With Us

You will have the freedom to recommend the right solution for every project. You will join a collaborative culture that values initiative, celebrates wins, and invests in professional development. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same, we want to meet you.
