Industrial Equipment Parts Liaison

Key Responsibilities

Customer Development & Sales Execution

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts in sectors such as construction, mining, equipment rental, and public works.
  • Drive outbound sales through cold calls, inbound lead follow-up, and on-site visits to customer locations.
  • Educate customers on mechanical components like centrifugal pumps, valves, hydraulic drives, hose reels, spray systems, and plumbing assemblies.
  • Generate precise pricing proposals, coordinate new business intake, and ensure seamless customer service after the sale.
  • Quickly address customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, handling complex logistics requests, including overseas shipping and customs paperwork

Technical Expertise & Support

  • Offer expert guidance to customers, identifying the optimal parts for their specific water management equipment and vehicle needs
  • Troubleshoot compatibility questions and offer solutions based on product specifications.
  • Keep up-to-date with evolving product specs and customer requirements.

CRM & Sales Reporting

  • Keep accurate and up-to-date customer relationship management records, tracking all customer interactions, leads, and sales pipeline progress.
  • Track key performance metrics and refine sales strategies to boost win rates
  • Report insights from the field to sales leadership to support strategic growth.

E-Commerce & Website Collaboration

  • Support the online storefront by updating product information, specifications, and visuals.
  • Troubleshoot online order issues and guide customers through the purchasing process.

Internal Coordination

  • Liaise with warehouse, engineering, and production teams to confirm part availability and ensure accurate deliveries.
  • Relay feedback from customer interactions to improve product offerings and service levels.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Extensive background in industrial or heavy equipment sales environment
  •  A track record of successfully generating new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical components such as pumps, valves, and fluid systems.
  • CRM and ERP proficiency (e.g., HubSpot, Acumatica, or similar platforms).
  • Willingness to travel within the region for field sales visits and trade events.
  • Exceptional communication, follow-through, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of equipment used in municipal or industrial liquid handling applications
  • Experience in original equipment manufacturing (OEM) or aftermarket parts supply chain
  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
