Job Title: Senior Regional Sales Director
Location: United States / Remote - applicants must reside in the Southwestern Region
About the Opportunity
Our client is a global provider of industrial consumables and supply-chain solutions that is investing heavily in the Western half of the United States. They are seeking a high-impact Senior Regional Sales Director to accelerate top-line growth, double regional revenue over the next three years, and step into a Vice-Presidential track within 12–18 months. You will inherit a nine-figure P&L and a seasoned field organization, yet still have the green-field freedom to build new business, new talent, and new processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a $100 M+ multi-state business unit and build a roadmap to double revenue while protecting margins.
- Design and execute a go-to-market plan that blends solution selling, key-account expansion, and channel development.
- Hire, mentor, and inspire district managers and sales engineers; drive a culture of accountability through activity-based KPIs, pipeline health reviews, ride-alongs, and quarterly business reviews.
- Personally navigate high-stakes negotiations and executive-level relationships with strategic customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and sustainable profitability.
- Champion CRM and BI dashboards to sharpen forecast accuracy, pipeline velocity, and customer engagement insights.
- Partner with marketing, product, operations, and training teams to align demand generation, solution launches, and talent development.
- Manage travel, events, and promotional budgets to maximize ROI and stay within financial targets.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years progressive sales leadership, including 3+ years at senior/regional director level, managing $80 M+ revenue and full P&L.
- Demonstrated success scaling distributed teams to 50+ headcount while sustaining double-digit growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (MBA a plus).
- Mastery of modern CRM/analytics platforms and data-driven sales management.
- Ability to travel up to 70 % across the West and Southwest.

- Background in safety, industrial consumables, or MRO distribution.
- Experience working within privately held, high-growth, multi-national organizations.
- Fluency in continuous-improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
