DAS Installer

Our client is expanding its field installation capabilities to support in-building wireless and Distributed Antenna System projects across the United States. This is an opportunity for an experienced telecommunications installer who enjoys hands-on technical work, changing project environments, and seeing deployments through from design documentation to field completion. The ideal candidate brings strong coaxial and fiber skills, understands the importance of quality workmanship, and is comfortable traveling extensively to support projects nationwide.

Focus:

• Translate DAS plans, iBwave files, construction drawings, and field documentation into accurate installation work.
• Route, dress, secure, label, and terminate coaxial and fiber cabling for in-building wireless deployments.
• Install antennas, splitters, couplers, mounting hardware, grounding, and other passive RF infrastructure.
• Perform cable and antenna testing, isolate installation issues, and complete field troubleshooting to support system readiness.
• Build and organize pathways, telecom spaces, and supporting infrastructure while maintaining clean, safe job sites.
• Capture redlines, installation updates, material usage, expenses, and daily project progress for accurate closeout records.
• Work effectively as an independent field installer or support the coordination of small crews when project needs require it.
• Travel extensively throughout the United States to support project schedules and customer deployment needs.

Skill Set:

• 3 or more years of hands-on telecommunications installation experience, ideally supporting DAS or in-building wireless projects.
• Proven capability with coaxial and fiber cable installation, termination, testing, and fault isolation.
• Comfort reading DAS designs, iBwave files, blueprints, technical drawings, and installation guides.
• Working knowledge of RF cabling, antennas, passive components, grounding, and telecom installation practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot field installation issues methodically and verify completed work against project requirements.
• Strong attention to workmanship, safety, documentation accuracy, and professional conduct at customer sites.
• Self-directed work style with the ability to collaborate with installation teams and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Ability and willingness to travel heavily for projects throughout the United States.
