Preconstruction Program Coordinator

A well-established construction organization is seeking a Preconstruction Program Coordinator to support a high impact team responsible for moving complex project opportunities from early pursuit through turnover to execution. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized construction support professional who enjoys keeping critical workflows on track, partnering across departments, and helping teams win work in a fast-paced environment. The right person will play a central role in maintaining momentum during the front end of the project lifecycle while contributing to a collaborative, service minded culture.

Focus

  • Keep bid stage activities organized by maintaining project records, timelines, and internal tracking tools
  • Partner with estimating, operations, finance, and field leadership to keep pre-award work moving on schedule
  • Help launch new opportunities by coordinating setup steps, document flow, and team access across internal systems
  • Support outreach to trade partners, confirm participation, and assist with follow up communication during competitive bid efforts
  • Assist with early stage contracting, invoice coordination, and file management so pursuits transition cleanly into active work
  • Maintain a high standard of detail across estimates, correspondence, and compliance related documentation
  • Use construction software and digital workflows to support bid management, subcontractor onboarding, and reporting needs
  • Communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders and stay effective in a fast moving, deadline driven environment


Skill Set

  • At least four years of experience in project support, construction coordination, or a related administrative function
  • Strong organizational ability with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Careful attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
  • Comfort working with internal systems, shared files, and process driven workflows
  • Construction industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Candidates who have worked with bid platforms, subcontractor networks, or construction billing tools will be especially well positioned for success
