Marketing Director – SaaS Startup

As the first dedicated marketing leader, you’ll play multiple roles: strategist, content creator, demand generator, and brand builder. What You’ll Own

  • Create and refine the brand identity, messaging, and positioning across all external channels and touchpoints.
  • Drive go‑to‑market strategies for product features, launches, and corporate initiatives, working closely with product, sales, and executive stakeholders.
  • Own demand generation across channels (email, paid/digital, social, SEO/SEM), optimize funnel performance, and ensure regular pipeline contribution.
  • Lead content creation (blogs, case studies, whitepapers, video scripts, etc.) to build thought leadership and engage target audiences.
  • Manage the website, optimize conversion paths, and maintain SEO best practices to improve discoverability and lead flow.
  • Equip the sales team with needed collateral and enablement materials (pitch decks, customer stories, objection‑handling docs).
  • Set up the data, analytics, metrics, and tools to track performance, test ideas, iterate, and optimize.
  • Given startup scale, expect to juggle multiple responsibilities, work with external freelancers or agencies when needed, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally with SaaS or AI‑enabled platform products.
  • Strong mix of strategy + execution: able to lead big picture and dive into details where needed.
  • Experience growing demand generation programs, managing digital channels, content, SEO etc.
  • Excellent storytelling and messaging skills, especially translating technical or complex products into clear value.
  • Comfortable in a startup or fast growth environment: flexibility, ambiguity, many hats, fast pivots.
  • Good cross‑team collaboration skills.
  • Bonus: experience or interest in procurement, supply chain, or enterprise automation.
