Focus:

• Set the technical course for complex development programs, converting product objectives into engineering plans, decision points, and success criteria.
• Guide complex technical initiatives by coordinating decisions across functional areas, addressing development obstacles, and supporting continued project execution.
• Help connect efforts across different functional groups to support consistent progress toward shared goals.
• Guide early hardware builds through integration, characterization, verification, and readiness reviews, ensuring lessons from prototypes inform the next design iteration.

Skill Set:

• History of providing technical leadership for cross-functional engineering programs and driving teams toward defined product or project outcomes.
• Advanced technical expertise within a core engineering discipline, supported by substantial experience contributing to complex product development initiatives.
• Skilled at evaluating complex technical considerations, aligning priorities, and helping teams work through challenges throughout the development process.
• Undergraduate engineering degree in an applicable discipline, including electrical engineering, RF engineering, photonics, or a closely related field.
• Clear communicator with strong planning and organizational skills, able to align technical contributors and maintain high-quality engineering documentation.
• Demonstrated experience contributing to advanced development initiatives involving collaboration across diverse technical areas.
• Practical experience supporting technical evaluation, troubleshooting, testing, and development activities in a hands-on engineering environment.
• Working knowledge of modeling, simulation, measurement, or analytical tools used within the candidate's primary technical discipline.
