Senior Electrical Engineer

On-site in Fayetteville, AR

Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to take technical ownership of complex industrial facility projects and help shape electrical solutions that work as well in the field as they do on paper. This position is well suited for a licensed Professional Engineer looking to apply technical expertise while overseeing projects, coordinating across diverse teams, and supporting work through implementation in the field. The successful candidate will play an influential role across the project lifecycle while helping deliver safe, reliable, and highly constructible electrical systems.

Focus:

• Guide industrial electrical scope from concept development through issued documents, field support, and final project completion.
• Take licensed technical ownership of assigned electrical designs and the engineering decisions associated with them.
• Translate operating and facility needs into constructible electrical designs for power, controls, lighting, and life safety systems.
• Complete the calculations and technical evaluations needed to select equipment and validate electrical system performance.
• Direct the quality of drawings, specifications, and design packages while providing technical guidance to supporting staff.
• Integrate electrical requirements with architecture, structures, mechanical systems, process needs, and construction planning.
• Participate in site reviews, existing condition assessments, permitting activities, and construction phase issue resolution as needed.

Skill Set:

• Current professional engineering licensure in the electrical discipline is mandatory for this position.
• Bring 5 or more years of industrial electrical engineering practice, including direct accountability as the licensed Engineer of Record.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent accredited engineering program.
• Technical depth should span facility power, control systems, illumination, fire detection, load and equipment calculations, and electrical system evaluation.
• Hands on capability with Revit and AutoCAD is required for producing and reviewing electrical project documentation.
• Familiarity with relevant technical standards and regulatory requirements commonly encountered in industrial environments.
• Ability to independently lead technical work, guide supporting design professionals, and manage competing project priorities.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills for working across engineering, design, construction, and client teams.
