Director of Broadband Sales
Location: Remote – Nationwide
Our client is a leading provider of turnkey network development services for residential broadband expansion. With a mission to accelerate internet access in underserved communities, this company partners with regional ISPs and utility providers to deliver high-quality, scalable Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) solutions. They are on a fast-growth trajectory and looking for experienced sales leaders to help drive national expansion in this critical market.
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Broadband Sales to spearhead growth within the residential FTTH sector. This high-impact role involves consultative selling to Tier 2 through Tier 4 ISPs across the U.S., with an emphasis on long-term, recurring service models. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of broadband construction services, excels in value-based sales, and operates comfortably at the executive level. This role is critical to expanding market share and deepening customer relationships, ultimately fueling the company’s ambitious growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies tailored to residential broadband providers.
- Lead full-cycle consultative sales engagements focused on design, engineering, permitting, and lifecycle service solutions.
- Position Time & Expense (T&E) service models to emphasize transparency, flexibility, and risk mitigation.
- Cultivate multi-phase, multi-year client relationships aligned to build plans and public/private funding programs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to broadband executives, navigating complex infrastructure investments and timelines.
- Spearhead seamless transitions from sale to delivery, collaborating with engineering, PMO, and field ops to make it happen.
- Stay abreast of FTTH market trends, federal/state funding cycles (e.g., BEAD), and competitive activity to guide strategy.
- Represent the company at industry events and participate in thought leadership within broadband infrastructure development.
Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of direct sales experience in residential broadband/FTTH markets.
- Strong track record of selling T&E-based professional services into Tier 2–4 ISPs.
- Familiarity with how ISPs structure capital deployments and vendor engagement models.
- Proven track record of steering sales convos that dig deeper – focusing on execution playbooks and value-added solutions, not just price tags.
- Proven ability to build lasting client relationships that evolve from single projects to enterprise partnerships.
- Executive presence and experience interfacing with CEO/CFO/COO-level decision-makers.
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally/nationally as needed to meet client and business objectives.
