Sales Executive- Contract Packaging & Fulfillment

Location: Hybrid – Chicago, IL (Metro Area)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Executive with a proven track record in packaging, display manufacturing, or fulfillment services. This person will take charge of expanding the company's market presence by nurturing strategic relationships and closing high-value B2B accounts. Ideal candidates are self-starters with experience in complex sales cycles, client solution development, and a knack for storytelling that aligns customer challenges with innovative packaging and fulfillment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of enterprise-level customers within the CPG, retail, and e-commerce sectors.
  • Engage clients with consultative sales strategies, presenting end-to-end packaging and fulfillment solutions.
  • Translate customer pain points into actionable design and production plans in collaboration with internal creative and operational teams.
  • Drive pipeline progression through proactive prospecting, lead follow-up, and strategic networking efforts.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage sales activities, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring up-to-date and accurate documentation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with design, production, and logistics to deliver customer solutions that are timely, cost-effective, and of high quality.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market shifts to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Maintain a robust understanding of cost modeling, pricing strategies, and ROI calculations to deliver value-driven proposals.
  • Deliver best-in-class service throughout the entire sales process, from discovery to delivery and follow-up.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in industries such as contract packaging, corrugated displays, print manufacturing, or fulfillment services.
  • Experience managing a $3M+ book of business or similar revenue targets.
  • Strong background in complex sales cycles and enterprise relationship management.
  • Solid understanding of packaging design, production workflows, and supply chain logistics.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a hybrid, client-facing role.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and site visits.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
