What You’ll Do
- Partner across disciplines with sales, design, production, and customer teams to craft tailored power and cooling concepts for modular facilities
- Translate requirements into detailed electrical / mechanical design packages and support bids and proposals with technical insight
- Perform load, short-circuit, and fault studies to size power distribution, grounding, lighting, and control systems
- Generate and peer-review drawings - one-lines, schematics, wiring, and layouts - to ensure accuracy and constructability
- Verify code compliance with NEC, NFPA 72, IEEE, UL, and related standards while championing safe design practices
- Guide junior engineers and coordinate with supply-chain, manufacturing, quality, and field teams through commissioning
- Serve as the technical liaison for clients, vendors, and regulators, resolving design and site issues quickly
- Lead root-cause investigations and drive continuous-improvement projects that boost reliability and uptime
- Champion sustainable design by embedding energy-efficient practices throughout the product lifecycle
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or related)
- 2–5 years’ experience designing power or mechanical systems - preferably for data centers, telecom, or modular enclosures
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and / or ETAP; familiarity with PLCs, fire detection, and automation is a plus
- Solid grasp of NEC, UL, IEEE, and other applicable codes; strong analytical and project-management skills
- Experience coordinating vendors and subcontractors and managing budgets or cost estimates
Physical & Travel Requirements
Work primarily in an office / lab environment with occasional visits to manufacturing and customer sites (PPE provided). Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; periodic travel for project kickoff and commissioning
