A fast-moving specialty contractor with a strong footprint in complex electrical construction is hiring a seasoned recruiting professional to lead talent acquisition during a critical hiring cycle. This opportunity is built for someone who knows how to find and close high-impact construction talent, build pipelines before openings hit the market, and partner directly with leaders on urgent workforce needs. The right person will bring deep electrical construction recruiting experience, strong sourcing instincts, and a proven ability to deliver project managers, estimators, field leaders, and skilled trades talent in competitive markets.


This Role Offers

Focus

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for priority hires across electrical construction, with emphasis on project managers, estimators, superintendents, foremen, and skilled trades talent
  • ·Build proactive talent pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, networking, database mining, and relationship-driven outreach
  • Partner with hiring leaders to calibrate role requirements, candidate profiles, interview stages, and offer strategy for hard-to-fill positions
  • Develop and manage recruiting workflows that keep searches moving quickly while maintaining a strong candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Source passive candidates across regional and national talent markets within commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical construction
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking in the ATS and use recruiting data to prioritize searches, improve conversion rates, and communicate progress
  • Support offer development, pre-employment coordination, and hiring process execution through close collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Act as a strategic recruiting resource to the business, bringing market feedback, talent availability insights, and competitive intelligence to each search


Skill Set

  • 5 or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with direct success recruiting in the electrical construction industry
  • Demonstrated track record hiring project managers, estimators, field leadership, and skilled trades professionals
  • Strong proactive sourcing skills, including experience engaging passive candidates and building pipelines ahead of demand
  • Ability to manage multiple searches at once in a fast-paced project-driven environment
  • Confidence working directly with hiring leaders and influencing recruiting decisions through data, market insight, and strong communication
  • Experience using ATS platforms, LinkedIn, job boards, and other sourcing tools to drive recruiting results
  • Knowledge of hiring practices and employment compliance fundamentals relevant to recruiting and selection
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating independently in a remote contract role
