Metal Fabrication Machine Operator

Focus

• Operate a variety of fabrication equipment including laser cutting systems, turret punch machines, deburring equipment, and similar production machinery.
• Set up, adjust, and operate manufacturing equipment to meet quality and production requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and CAD-generated documentation to produce accurate finished components.
• Perform machine programming and make adjustments to optimize production efficiency.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Complete routine machine maintenance and keep equipment operating efficiently.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment while following all manufacturing and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with production team members to meet daily production schedules and quality expectations.
• Assist with additional manufacturing responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Skill Set

• Minimum of one year of manufacturing or metal fabrication experience.
• Experience operating fabrication equipment such as laser cutting systems, turret punch presses, deburring equipment, or comparable machinery.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD documentation.
• Experience programming or adjusting manufacturing equipment.
• Comfortable using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality.
• Ability to lift materials weighing up to 100 pounds as required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Forklift experience is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and continuous quality improvement.
