Senior Mechanical Engineer - HVAC

Focus:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
- Active U.S. P.E. license with HVAC or mechanical emphasis.
- 5+ years in design-build construction, including 3+ years focused on HVAC systems for controlled or classified environments.
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Revit for BIM coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to take projects from concept through sealed construction documents and support field execution.
Skill Set:
- 3+ years of roofing estimation or exterior-construction sales experience.
- Proficiency with estimating tools such as Xactimate, The EDGE, or RoofSnap plus everyday office software.
- Practical knowledge of steep-slope and low-slope roofing systems, local codes, and safety practices.
- Documented history of closing projects ranging from $10K to $500K.
- Comfort working at heights and outdoors in varied weather; ability to climb ladders and access rooftops.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and willingness to travel throughout greater Phoenix.
Preferred & Bonus Skills:
- SolidWorks or similar for component-level modeling and stress/deflection analysis.
- Familiarity with cleanroom ISO classifications, radiation shielding, or other highly regulated facility standards.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers.
