Regional Recruiter

Location: Remote / Nationwide

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday normal business hours / Occasional evening events; weekends are rare.

Travel: Roughly 30 percent travel aligned to recruiting seasons (February–April and September–November).

Our client, a fast-growing, privately held distributor that empowers hundreds of local branches, is investing heavily in future leaders and needs a Regional Recruiter to own that mission nationwide. Reporting to senior regional leadership, you will design campus strategies, experiment with new sourcing ideas, and guide candidates from “first hello” through accepted offer – all while enjoying the autonomy, resources, and growth path of a company that promotes from within.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with regional executives to set annual head-count goals, forecast talent demand, and build data-driven sourcing playbooks.
  • Define success profiles, craft screening questions, and conduct résumé reviews, phone screens, and behavioral interviews.
  • Cultivate an employer brand on priority campuses through career fairs, information sessions, and student-organization outreach, then expand to new schools as hiring needs evolve.
  • Source mid-career talent via industry associations, alumni networks, referrals, and creative digital channels.
  • Orchestrate a seamless interview experience as the single point of contact, coordinating hiring-panel schedules and candidate travel.
  • Present offers, communicate career-growth paths, and shepherd candidates through decision-making to achieve roughly 10 hires per year.
  • Maintain requisitions and candidate data in the Salesforce-based ATS, ensuring clean analytics for leadership reviews.
  • Track and analyze funnel and retention metrics, sharing insights that continuously refine recruiting strategy.
  • Act as a sounding board for recent hires, elevating feedback that sharpens onboarding and retention.
  • Stay current on best practices through conferences, webinars, and professional networks.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting, with at least one year focused on university or early-career hiring.
  • Confident public speaker able to engage audiences from student groups to senior executives.
  • Strong written communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) and hands-on experience with any ATS; Salesforce familiarity a plus.
  • Collaborative, adaptable mindset when partnering with diverse personalities across multiple locations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term-disability insurance.
  • 401(k) with company contribution, FSA, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
  • Professional-development budget and a clear path toward expanded recruiting leadership.

Why Join

  • Direct influence on nationwide growth and leadership succession.
  • Freedom to test and scale innovative recruiting campaigns.
  • Close-knit culture that values local decision-making backed by strong corporate resources.
  • Opportunity to travel the country while advancing a rewarding recruiting career.
