Loan Servicing Manager

Location: Hybrid - Nassau County, NY (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

The Opportunity

A fast-growing specialty lender is expanding its legal-finance platform and needs a Loan Servicing Manager to build the systems and team that keep a nationwide portfolio running flawlessly. In this high-visibility seat, you will blend relationship management with process design to ensure every dollar lent to law-firm clients is tracked, reported, and repaid with precision. Join an organization that pairs mission-driven values with institutional capital, and help define the gold standard for transparency in legal-sector lending.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end servicing for a sizable commercial loan book, from payment processing and covenant monitoring to borrower outreach.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner law firms, cultivating trust-based relationships that support timely information flow.
  • Monitor litigation dockets and other case-level collateral, maintaining audit-ready documentation and valuation controls.
  • Design scalable workflows, dashboards, and data integrations that deliver “one-click” insight for executives, banks, and fund investors.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Technology teams to align servicing data with internal systems and external reporting platforms.
  • Lead continuous-improvement projects that tighten controls, reduce close timelines, and scale operations as the portfolio multiplies.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and investor requirements; support audits and due-diligence reviews.

Qualifications

  • Eight or more years in loan servicing, credit operations, or asset management, including three years guiding teams or projects.
  • Exposure to niche products such as law-firm lending, litigation finance, asset-based facilities, or structured credit.
  •  Advanced Excel skills and fluency with servicing, CRM, or portfolio-management tools (Salesforce, nCino, or similar).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced credentials (MBA, JD, CLFP, or CPA) are a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and relationship-management abilities, thriving in a high-growth hybrid environment.

What’s in It for You

  • Competitive base salary plus performance bonus and full health benefits.
  • 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, and flexible hybrid schedule.
  • Direct line of sight to executive leadership and a clear path to Director level.
  • Mission-centric culture that merges finance, technology, and data to broaden access to justice.
