Electrical Engineering Project Manager
Location: On site in Dallas, TX
A fast-growing project delivery organization is expanding its technical leadership bench and adding an Electrical Engineering Project Manager to support complex facility projects in a highly regulated environment. This is an opportunity to step into a visible role with strong influence across design, coordination, execution, and client communication. The right person will help shape electrical engineering quality, strengthen project delivery processes, and play a meaningful part in the continued growth of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
What You Will Do
- Lead end-to-end electrical engineering efforts for complex, on-site building projects, from early planning through turnover and occupancy.
- Guide design decisions for normal power, backup power, lighting, controls, low-voltage scope, and coordination with building systems.
- Partner with architects, construction leaders, consultants, vendors, and field teams to keep deliverables aligned with schedule, budget, and code requirements.
- Review drawings and technical documents for quality, constructability, and coordination before release.
- Support project execution during construction by resolving RFIs, submittals, field issues, and design updates with urgency.
- Help standardize engineering workflows, templates, and quality practices that can scale with a growing project portfolio.
- Serve as a trusted client-facing technical leader, translating engineering decisions into clear recommendations and project updates.
- Mentor internal and external contributors while raising accountability, responsiveness, and technical excellence across the team.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline required, Professional Engineer licensure strongly preferred.
- Background leading electrical scope for healthcare, critical environment, medical office, or similarly regulated facilities.
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, life safety expectations, and related compliance requirements.
- Comfort with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and standard project communication tools.
- Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to manage priorities, communicate clearly, and keep teams moving.
- A practical, detail-oriented approach to problem solving, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
