Wireless Presales Engineer
Location: Remote, Nationwide
A growing wireless infrastructure organization is looking for a Wireless Presales Engineer to help shape customer solutions across complex connectivity environments. This is a high impact, client facing role for someone who enjoys translating technical wireless concepts into practical business value. You will work across a broad mix of cellular and in building technologies, partner closely with sales and delivery teams, and help customers move from early-stage discovery to clear, well scoped solution plans. This Role Offers

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to support customer conversations, qualify technical needs, and guide solution direction for wireless connectivity projects.
- Lead discovery discussions and turn business needs into clear solution pathways for cellular and in building network environments.
- Develop scopes of work, bills of material, solution summaries, and proposal inputs that help move opportunities forward.
- Act as a technical liaison across sales, engineering, and operations to keep deliverables aligned, accurate, and customer ready.
- Present practical solution options and explain technical tradeoffs in language that supports confident customer decisions.
- Contribute to proposal development, technical narratives, and other customer-facing materials used throughout the presales process.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain momentum on customer deliverables and remove obstacles that affect timelines or quality.
- Stay current on evolving wireless technologies, carrier related solution trends, and in building connectivity approaches.
- Participate in customer meetings, site walks, and industry events as needed, with travel expected to be light and targeted.
Ideal Background
- Several years of experience supporting wireless or cellular solutions in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or similar customer facing technical role.
- Strong familiarity with DAS and carrier oriented wireless environments.
- Experience building or supporting scopes of work, BOMs, proposals, and solution documentation.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, polished, and consultative way.
- Comfort working across both strategy and execution, rather than staying only at a high advisory level.
- Collaborative style with the ability to work effectively across sales, engineering, and operations teams.
- Background in an integrator, neutral host, or telecom services environment is highly valued.
- Exposure to private networks or adjacent in building wireless technologies is helpful.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Relevant wireless, RF, or in building network certifications can be beneficial.
