Senior Superintendent: Mission Critical Projects

The Senior Superintendent manages field execution for large scale mission critical electrical construction projects, with a primary focus on schedule performance, safety, quality, crew coordination, and site leadership. This person will work closely with project management, foremen, trade partners, and stakeholders to keep demanding projects moving in fast paced environments where uptime, accuracy, and timely delivery matter.

What You Will Do

• Lead day-to-day field operations for mission critical construction work across active project sites in Northern Virginia.
• Direct foremen, trade partners, and field crews to keep labor, materials, sequencing, and production aligned with project milestones.
• Drive short range planning, daily coordination, and issue resolution to maintain project momentum and recover quickly from changing site conditions.
• Promote a strong safety culture by reinforcing jobsite expectations, supporting compliance efforts, and holding teams accountable for safe execution.
• Review drawings, scopes, and installation details to ensure work is performed in line with contract documents and quality expectations.
• Partner with project managers and key stakeholders to communicate progress, surface risks early, and support effective field decisions.
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries, access planning, staging, and turnover activities in highly active construction environments.
• Maintain accurate daily reporting, schedule updates, and field documentation that support strong project controls and smooth closeout.

What You Bring

• 10 plus years of experience leading electrical field operations in commercial or mission critical construction.
• Strong background supporting data centers or other uptime sensitive environments.
• Proven ability to lead large crews through foremen and coordinate effectively with multiple trades on active jobsites.
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, short interval planning, drawings, specifications, and field reporting practices.
• Confidence managing site logistics, inspections, safety expectations, and quality performance across multiple work fronts.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in demanding project settings.
• Experience working within a union labor environment is helpful.
• OSHA training and familiarity with construction technology tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or scheduling platforms are valued.
