About the Role

The Electrical Superintendent will act as the technical authority and site leader for electrical commissioning and safety operations on large-scale construction projects. This position requires an experienced professional who excels in managing complex energy isolation procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving best-in-class safety practices.

Why This Opportunity?

  • Take ownership of high-impact projects in a supportive, team-driven environment.
  • Work on cutting-edge electrical infrastructure that powers the nation’s most vital operations.
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
  • Long-term career growth and advancement opportunities with a stable, growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full electrical commissioning lifecycle from pre-energization to turnover.
  • Oversee access and activity in electrical rooms, ensuring adherence to safety protocols during system energization and isolation.
  • Lead pre-energization inspection reviews and authorize readiness for power-up.
  • Own the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and energy isolation programs at the site level, reviewing and approving procedures.
  • Serve as the onsite subject matter expert for energy isolation involving AC/DC and multi-voltage systems.
  • Facilitate safety meetings, JHAs, and High-Risk Activity reviews with site stakeholders.
  • Conduct audits, enforce compliance, and clearly communicate technical direction to both engineers and field personnel.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in energy isolation, electrical commissioning, or safety management.
  • Active NFPA 70E certification (required).
  • Demonstrated expertise working with complex electrical systems including AC and DC, across multiple voltages.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in commercial or industrial construction environments, ideally with mission-critical infrastructure such as data centers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction.
  • Prior exposure to commissioning standards in high-reliability environments.

Projects You’ll Support
