Lighting Wester Regional Sales Manager
Location: Remote / Nationwide (priority to those who reside in Northern CA, Southern CA, Phoenix, Denver, & Seattle)
Travel: 50 percent travel concentrated in the western half of the United States

With record growth in the East and Central regions, they are now investing heavily in the West and need a high-energy sales leader to build the territory from the ground up. You will inherit strong product momentum and a dedicated inside-sales partner while owning the strategy, agency network, and revenue ramp for every market from Seattle to San Diego.
Key Objectives
- Deliver year-over-year gains in revenue, margin, and market share across the Western U.S.
- Recruit, onboard, and elevate independent lighting rep agencies in priority metros (Northern CA, Southern CA, Phoenix, Denver, Seattle).
- Amplify specification pull-through by cultivating deep relationships with designers, distributors, and contractors.
- Provide market feedback on competitive trends and new-product opportunities.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Surpass annual sales and profit targets through hands-on territory development.
- Identify, vet, and upgrade rep agencies; set clear KPIs and coach them to exceed expectations.
- Conduct in-person and virtual trainings, CEU sessions, and product demonstrations for specifiers and channel partners.
- Maintain a vigorous pipeline and accurate forecast in CRM; coordinate closely with the quoting desk for rapid turnaround.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, agent conferences, and industry events (travel ~50 percent).
- Partner with operations, customer service, and engineering teams to ensure an exceptional end-to-end customer experience.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of territory or channel sales success with a commercial/architectural lighting manufacturer or lighting rep agency.
- Demonstrated ability to accelerate sales through independent rep networks and channel partners.
- Existing relationships in Western lighting markets and comfort navigating the design/specification ecosystem.
- Entrepreneurial, commission-driven mindset with the stamina to cover a large geography.
- Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft 365; data-driven forecasting skills.
- Willingness to travel about 50 percent to meet agents and customers across the region.
