Are you a field-savvy HVAC expert ready for an exciting role that lets you travel nationwide while working on cutting-edge cooling systems? A prominent industry leader is seeking skilled HVAC professionals to join their team. This role offers unmatched exposure to advanced chiller systems and industrial-scale PLC controls, with extensive career growth and world-class training built in from day one.

About the Role

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted on-site technician and equipment expert, helping major customers launch, commission, and maintain large-scale HVAC systems supporting critical infrastructure. You'll be hands-on with high-tech gear in data centers, like cooling systems, automated control setups, and heavy-duty air handling units. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, customer-facing environment and values both technical precision and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • National travel to client sites for the purpose of system startups, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of large-scale HVAC and data center cooling systems.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including service coordinators and regional field managers, to implement service strategies, manage schedules, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Provide on-site support, technical training, and guidance to clients regarding equipment use and preventive care.
  • Document service tasks, system tweaks, and performance insights in thorough technical reports.
  • Represent the brand in a professional, solutions-oriented manner, always keeping customer experience and safety top of mind.
  • Independently manage your travel, schedule, and time tracking, with full autonomy over booking logistics.
  • Join forces with peers and mentors during an extensive onboarding and ramp-up period to ensure success in the field.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC service, with strong knowledge of chiller systems and electrical/PLC troubleshooting.
  • Experience with industrial HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electronic controls.
  • Proficient in reading schematics, diagnosing issues in the field, and communicating effectively with internal teams and customers.
  • Ability to interface with PLCs for troubleshooting purposes (no programming required, but must be confident using interface tools).
  • Holds or is willing to obtain EPA Universal Certification (minimum Type 1 or 2 required to start; must pursue Type 3 or Universal if not already held).
  • Familiarity with arc flash, LOTO procedures, and other electrical safety protocols.
  • Self-directed, adaptable, and capable of managing last-minute schedule or travel adjustments.

Benefits Package Includes:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match
  • Annual merit-based raises (~3%)
  • Profit-sharing bonus (approx. 3% annually)
  • Paid training & onboarding
  • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible scheduling
  • Fully stocked toolkits and paid travel expenses
  • Professional development and advancement opportunities

This is your chance to join a highly collaborative and rapidly growing technical team supporting essential industries. Whether you’re currently working regionally or seeking more specialized HVAC exposure, this role puts you on the front lines of mission-critical infrastructure.
