Business Development Manager – Cold Chain Solutions
Location: Remote – Nationwide (U.S-based)

Key Responsibilities
- Penetrate new pharmaceutical, biotech, and perishables accounts while deepening share of wallet with existing customers through consultative solution selling.
- Own the sales process from prospecting and discovery through proposal, contract negotiation, and post-sale support, partnering with engineering and operations to ensure flawless execution.
- Create multi-year growth plans and resin-margin forecasts, leveraging CRM analytics to hit revenue and profitability objectives.
- Maintain a 90-day rolling opportunity pipeline, provide weekly updates, and champion disciplined Salesforce hygiene for accurate forecasting and resource allocation.
- Orchestrate cross-functional resources to exceed on-time, in-spec delivery targets, driving renewals, upsells, and long-term agreements.
- Represent the organization at trade shows and virtual events, delivering thought-leadership presentations on emerging cold chain trends and regulatory requirements.
- Feed voice-of-customer insights to product and engineering teams and participate in Kaizen initiatives that enhance product performance and margin.
- Share best practices with peers, mentor junior sellers, and model a culture anchored in accountability, innovation, and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of success selling cold chain or temperature-controlled packaging (insulated shippers, thermal liners, pallet solutions, or related services).
- Proven track record hitting or exceeding quarterly sales and gross-margin targets in a business-to-business environment.
- Bachelor’s degree (business, supply-chain, engineering, or related discipline) or equivalent sales experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a major CRM (Salesforce.com preferred).
- Ability to travel up to 50 percent for customer visits and industry events.
- Strong communication skills in English; Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience negotiating multiyear supply agreements with pharmaceutical or life-science customers.
- Familiarity with GDP/GMP guidelines, ISTA testing, or sustainability initiatives in packaging.
- Background in resin-based molded or fabricated products.
