Our client is seeking a hands-on Inventory & Materials Coordinator to help bring greater accuracy, organization, and consistency to a busy materials operation supporting field-based projects. This is an opportunity to take ownership of inventory from the physical storage area through the digital record, helping ensure teams have the right materials available when they need them. The ideal candidate enjoys being active, solving discrepancies, improving organization, and creating reliable inventory processes that keep operations moving.

This Role Offers:

  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Company-paid life insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with a 4% company match.
  • Annual incentive and profit-sharing bonus opportunities.
  • Long-term growth potential with an established organization.

Focus:

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by tracking materials, equipment, and supplies needed for daily operations.
  • Use Excel and related inventory tools to enter transactions, update counts, and maintain reliable records.
  • Reconcile physical counts against digital records, investigate variances, and correct discrepancies.
  • Support regular inventory counts and help identify the causes of shortages, overages, and other inconsistencies.
  • Partner with project and field teams to anticipate material needs, support replenishment, and keep work moving.
  • Handle receiving, stocking, picking, staging, and movement of materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
  • Keep warehouse and outdoor storage areas organized, clean, and ready for efficient material handling.
  • Prepare routine inventory reports and flag shortages, unusual movement, aging stock, or other potential issues.
  • Look for practical ways to improve inventory accuracy, workflow efficiency, and recordkeeping.

Skill Set:

  • Warehouse or inventory experience is required.

  • Experience working hands-on with physical inventory while maintaining corresponding digital records.
  • Comfort using Excel or similar systems to track, update, and reconcile inventory information.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with warehouse, project, field, and operations personnel.
  • Ability to investigate discrepancies, identify potential causes, and follow issues through resolution.
  • Comfort working in an active warehouse and outdoor yard environment where conditions may include heat, cold, rain, dust, mud, or other weather exposure.
  • Ability to perform a physically active role that includes frequent standing, walking, reaching, gripping, carrying, and material handling.
