Location: Hybrid in Tampa, FL or Fort Myers, FL

This leader will play a central role in defining how the business reaches small and midsize customers, strengthens demand generation, and opens new vertical opportunities. It is an exciting opportunity for a strategic marketer who wants visible influence, close partnership with leadership, and the ability to build programs that directly impact revenue.

The Director of Marketing will guide go to market planning, improve pipeline quality, support expansion into new customer segments, and help a lean team scale with purpose. Focus

  • Own the company’s go to market approach for B2B demand generation, segment expansion, and revenue aligned campaign planning.
  • Lead a lean marketing function while partnering closely with sales, product, and executive leadership to improve positioning and pipeline quality.
  • Develop messaging and launch plans for new industry verticals, with emphasis on repeatable growth programs instead of basic channel or social only marketing.
  • Translate market insight into practical growth strategies for existing core segments and emerging service driven markets.
  • Guide content strategy, campaign execution, and digital programs across the funnel with a strong focus on measurable business outcomes.
  • Use data, attribution, and funnel performance insights to recommend investment decisions and improve marketing efficiency.
  • Strengthen collaboration between marketing, sales, and operational stakeholders to support product launches and commercial growth initiatives.
  • Build team accountability, raise execution standards, and mentor a small group in a fast paced, evolving environment.


Skill Set

  • Proven success in B2B marketing leadership, ideally in telecom, UCaaS, VoIP, SaaS, or a related technology environment.
  • Strong go to market strategy experience, especially in small and midsize business markets.
  • Ability to clearly articulate how growth programs were built, measured, and optimized.
  • Experience supporting new vertical expansion, demand generation, and revenue focused marketing.
  • Comfort working in a smaller company or growth stage environment where strategy and execution both matter.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot, GitHub, Salesforce, or similar business systems is helpful.
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and cross functional leadership ability.
  • Energy, adaptability, and a collaborative style that fits a visible leadership role in a growing organization.


Preferred Background

  • Candidates with a senior manager, director, or senior director background.
  • Strong industry knowledge and clear evidence of building growth engines.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic depth and execution maturity.
  • VoIP or UCaaS exposure, small team leadership, and new vertical development.
