Sales Rep - Robotics

Location: Chicago, IL

Our client is scaling its commercial presence in the U.S. and is looking for a high-impact sales professional to help expand adoption of advanced robotic automation solutions. This is an opportunity to step into a growth-focused role with strong visibility, meaningful market influence, and the ability to shape customer relationships across a priority territory. Focus

  • Drive territory growth by developing relationships with manufacturers, automation partners, and integrators in a defined region.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Partner with technical and applications teams to align robotic solutions with customer goals and production needs.
  • Build and expand a network of channel relationships and strategic end users to create long-term revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, territory forecasts, and account plans within the CRM.
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, demonstrations, industry events, and partner engagements as needed.
  • Travel throughout the assigned market to support customer development and regional account growth in a hybrid work model.


Skill Set

  • Bring several years of business-to-business sales success in robotics, industrial automation, motion control, or a related technical field.
  • Offer consultative selling experience with capital equipment, robotic systems, or automation platforms.
  • Demonstrate success building relationships with integrators, OEMs, manufacturers, or other industrial customers.
  • Show strength in account development, partner engagement, communication, and commercial negotiation.
  • Be comfortable working independently, managing regional travel, and building momentum in an emerging market.
