Business Development Manager, Executive Search

 Location: Remote – United States


Our client is a rapidly expanding, nationwide executive-search organization that partners with thousands of hospitality, food-service, and consumer-facing brands. Backed by a sophisticated marketing engine, a robust candidate database, and dedicated recruiter pods, the company empowers high-performing sales professionals to close larger deals faster while working completely remote. As a Business Development Manager, you will own the full sales cycle for retained and engaged searches, driving revenue growth and shaping talent strategies for some of the most recognizable names in hospitality and beyond.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure new retained or engaged search agreements for leadership and management roles, typically in the mid-five-figure fee range.
  • Activate a blend of warm inbound leads, re-engage lapsed accounts, and execute targeted outbound campaigns to multi-unit operators, franchise groups, and hospitality brands.
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships with owners, C-suite leaders, and HR executives to scope projects, present search proposals, and negotiate terms.
  • Partner with an assigned recruiting pod that sources, screens, and delivers candidates on your searches, allowing you to focus on selling and client management.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline in the CRM, forecast revenue, and report wins to company leadership.
  • Earn uncapped commissions on every retainer, placement, and contract renewal you generate.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Proven history of producing at least $300K in annual direct-hire fees or comparable B2B services revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to close six-figure professional-services deals with mid-market or enterprise clients.
  • Domain expertise within restaurants, hospitality, food & beverage, or closely related consumer sectors (CPG, real estate, entertainment, etc.).
  • Hunter mentality marked by consistent outreach volume, consultative discovery, and strategic follow-through.
  • Comfortable operating in a fully remote, high-autonomy environment with clear performance metrics.
  • Full-desk recruiters and agency producers with a portable book of business are highly encouraged to apply.
