A global innovator in next-generation satellite and wireless infrastructure is seeking an experienced Antenna FCC Regulatory Licensing Engineer to support the coordination and submission of regulatory filings for satellite ground station equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and submission of satellite ground system license applications for U.S. and international regulatory bodies, with a focus on FCC Part 25 filings.
  • Manage RF parameter coordination and licensing documentation with global consultants and internal engineering teams.
  • Provide technical input for spectrum usage, frequency coordination, and equipment compliance with FCC, ITU, and ETSI standards.
  • Conduct RF modeling and interference studies using tools such as Visualyse and STK to support regulatory applications.
  • Support equipment testing and certification workflows for ground-based RF infrastructure across global markets.
  • Participate in international coordination discussions and, if necessary, travel for regulatory meetings or testing efforts.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3–7+ years of experience in space systems, RF systems, or satellite communications engineering.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. and international satellite regulatory processes, particularly FCC Part 25.
  • Experience with interference analysis, licensing coordination, and satellite system certifications.
  • Proficiency in RF simulation and modeling tools like Visualyse and STK.
  • Knowledge of frequency coordination databases and spectrum management best practices.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and coordinate across global teams.
