Director of Digital Marketing

Location: Remote with optional coworking days New York City, NY

A mission-driven healthcare organization is scaling a brand-new direct-to-consumer (DTC) growth engine, and they need a hands-on digital leader to build it from the ground up. If you move fast, think in experiments, and care about improving patient outcomes, this is your chance to own the entire funnel, from the first impression to revenue, while working remotely with periodic meet-ups in NYC.

 

 

What You’ll Tackle

  • Architect and run multi-channel paid and organic campaigns (search, social, display, programmatic, email) from brief through reporting.
  • Build and iterate high-converting landing pages and microsites; drive on-page SEO and continuous A/B testing to lift CTR and CVR.
  • Partner with creative teams to deliver ads, short-form videos, and emails that load quickly, resonate with patients, and stay compliant.
  • Establish attribution dashboards and translate insights into clear “do this next” actions - UTM hygiene is non-negotiable.
  • Own channel budgets, forecast outcomes, and shift spend toward winners in real time.
  • Collaborate with legal, medical, and compliance partners to craft patient-friendly messaging that meets healthcare regulations.

 

 

 

Your First 90 Days

  • Stand up the core paid channels with clean tracking and zero guesswork.
  • Launch a weekly test-and-learn calendar (creative, audiences, landing pages).
  • Ship a high-intent landing page plus email nurture that accelerates pipeline.
  • Deliver a single-source-of-truth dashboard from traffic to revenue.

 

 

Success Metrics

  • CAC and ROAS by channel
  • MQL ➔ SQL conversion rate and pipeline influenced
  • Landing-page CVR and cost per qualified lead
  • Speed from idea to live test

 

 

 

What You Bring

 

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years leading digital marketing programs in healthcare, health-tech, or life sciences.
  • Hands-on expertise with Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and at least one programmatic DSP.
  • Fluent in GA4, tag managers, pixels, and marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar); SQL/BI familiarity is a plus.
  • Comfortable navigating HIPAA considerations and sensitive patient data.
  • Data-driven, scrappy, and biased toward action.

 

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with content syndication or healthcare publisher networks.
  • Working knowledge of CRO tools (Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize successor stacks).
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills for quick landing-page tweaks.
