Sales Manager 

Our client is a fast‐growing manufacturer of high-performance LED lighting that is scaling to a nationwide, relationship-driven channel model. Backed by a newly launched professional product line, the company is ready to build a first-class network of independent sales rep agencies and electrical distributors - and needs a dynamic Sales Manager to lead the charge. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Channel Strategy & Build-Out – Design and activate a multi-channel go-to-market plan that delivers strong first-year revenue while standing up an ecosystem of trusted partners 
  • Partner Recruitment & Enablement – Source, contract, and coach regional rep firms and distributor partners; set clear KPIs and scorecards to track performance 
  • Pricing & Program Governance – Establish margin ladders, MAP policy, and deal-registration rules that protect channel profitability 
  • Demand Generation & Pipeline Leadership – Drive specification and project wins across warehousing, manufacturing, education, municipal, and sports/stadium verticals; maintain a qualified pipeline 
  • Operational Alignment – Champion a 48-hour Quick-Ship program by coordinating forecasts with multi-state distribution centers and operations teams 
  • Team & Culture – Lead weekly pipeline calls, quarterly business reviews, and mentor future hires such as an Inside Sales or Channel Coordinator 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of B2B lighting, electrical distribution, or related capital-equipment sales; 2+ years in a leadership capacity 
  • Demonstrated success onboarding and managing rep agencies and distributor networks 
  • Deep understanding of distributor & agency ecosystems with relationships at firms such as Graybar, CED, and Wesco 
  • Comfortable operating with high autonomy in an early-stage, “build-it-as-you-go” environment 
  • Proficient in CRM and sales-analytics platforms; data-driven and highly organized
