Technical Solution Engineer - AI Sales 


Location: St. Petersburg, FL or Washington, DC (Hybrid Remote)

The Technical Solution Engineer - AI Sales will serve as a trusted advisor and technical liaison between enterprise clients and internal product teams. In this role, you’ll combine sales acumen with hands-on technical expertise to design and deliver intelligent solutions that solve complex business challenges. 


You’ll partner with account executives, developers, and customer success teams to translate client requirements into tailored, scalable solutions built on the company’s AI platform. This position is ideal for a technically fluent problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of sales, technology, and business transformation


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support sales and business development efforts by providing technical expertise during client engagements, demos, and presentations. 
  • Design and articulate solution architectures that demonstrate the platform’s AI-driven capabilities and business ROI. 
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to customize configurations and integrations for client environments. 
  • Translate customer goals into detailed technical requirements and propose effective implementation approaches. 
  • Partner with account executives throughout the full sales cycle - from discovery to proposal, proof of concept, and close. 
  • Conduct live product demonstrations that showcase the value of automation, analytics, and AI workflows. 
  • Maintain deep product knowledge and act as an internal subject matter expert for new features and use cases. 
  • Document solution designs, integration plans, and technical recommendations for enterprise clients. 


Experience 

  • 3–6 years of experience in technical sales, solution engineering, or SaaS implementation. 
  • Strong understanding of AI, automation, or data-driven SaaS platforms. 
  • Proficiency with APIs, integration workflows, and web application technologies. 
  • Hands-on experience in JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting languages preferred. 
  • Excellent communication skills - able to convey complex technical ideas to executive and non-technical audiences. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate across sales, product, and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong presentation, problem-solving, and client relationship management skills. 


Preferred  

  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing technology a strong plus. 
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle SCM. 
  • Exposure to early-stage tech or startup environments where agility and ownership are key. 
  • Based in or near St. Petersburg, FL or Washington, DC for client-facing meetings and team collaboration.
