Strategic Account Executive – Sustainable Corrugated Solutions


Location: Remote (preference for candidates based in Ventura County, CA or the greater Midwest to best serve existing customers)


An employee-owned packaging innovator is rapidly scaling its corrugated “brown-box” division and is seeking a proven Strategic Account Executive to catapult growth. You’ll combine your existing $3 million-plus book of business with the company’s award-winning design, manufacturing, and logistics engine to deliver right-sized, sustainable packaging programs for iconic brands. Focus:

  • Drive net-new revenue & expand key accounts through a balanced hunter/farmer approach.
  • Mobilize your network: transfer and grow a corrugated portfolio worth at least $3 million annually.
  • Solution-sell across the value chain, translating customer objectives into specifications, pricing, and supply-chain programs that improve speed-to-shelf.
  • Maintain a data-driven pipeline, forecasting accurately and meeting conversion targets at every stage.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, production, sustainability, and logistics teams to ensure flawless execution and repeat business.
  • Champion sustainable packaging trends at client meetings, trade events, and industry forums.


Skill Set:

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying success in corrugated packaging (brown-box) sales
  • Current access to a transferable book of business ≥ $3 M in annual corrugated revenue
  • Demonstrated ability to win and grow large “big-box” or enterprise accounts
  • Working knowledge of corrugated pricing, production, and supply-chain dynamics
  • Proficiency with CRM and productivity tools for pipeline hygiene and analytics
  • Willingness to travel ~35 percent for client visits and industry events

Preferred Skill Set:

  • Relationships with Costco, Walmart, Target, or major CPG brands.
  • Prior wins against large, vertically integrated corrugated competitors (e.g., WestRock, PCA, Smurfit Kappa)
  • POP display or retail-ready packaging experience.
