Scheduling Specialist

Our client - a rapidly scaling owner-side consultancy at the intersection of construction tech and data analytics - is trusted by hyperscale cloud providers and Fortune 500 owners to keep multi-billion-dollar, mission-critical campuses on time and on budget. As demand for new capacity soars, they’re adding a Scheduling Specialist to transform conceptual delivery strategies into crystal-clear roadmaps that guide every discipline from design kickoff through final hand-off.

This Role Offers:

·        Shape tomorrow’s digital backbone - orchestrate schedules for some of the world’s largest data centers.

·        Remote flexibility, real impact - work where you thrive, then join the team on-site for key pull-planning and turnover milestones.

·        People-first culture - inclusive, award-winning environment devoted to growth, transparency, and giving back.

·        Robust rewards - competitive pay, day-one health coverage, 4 % 401(k) match, flexible PTO, matched charitable donations, and a yearly up-skilling stipend.

Focus:

·        Translate high-level delivery strategies into fully logic-linked schedules covering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

·        Integrate MEP, ICT, and security workstreams into a single scheduling “source of truth” for both trade partners and owner executives.

·        Run risk simulations (e.g., Monte Carlo) to quantify float erosion and prescribe mitigation before delays surface.

·        Lead weekly critical-path reviews and craft actionable recovery scenarios.

·        Develop phased commissioning timelines that dovetail with energization, network activation, and compliance testing.

·        Maintain MS Project as the master schedule while importing/exporting P6 updates from contractors.

·        Automate dashboards and templates inside Procore (or similar) to drive schedule transparency.

·        Facilitate quarterly business reviews, turning raw schedule data into insights that influence budget, staffing, and long-lead procurement.

Skill Set:

·        5+ yrs of hands-on scheduling or project-controls experience for data centers, fabs, hospitals, or other 24/7 facilities.

·        Expert-level proficiency in MS Project; solid working knowledge of Primavera P6.

·        Demonstrated success aligning design teams, cost controllers, field crews, and commissioning agents to shared milestones.

·        Deep understanding of WBS creation, resource loading, modular/pre-fab impacts, and construction means & methods.

·        Clear, confident communicator—equally skilled with boots-on-the-ground superintendents and C-suite stakeholders.

·        Willingness to travel up to 25 % for key workshops, factory witness tests, and Go-Live events.

Nice-to-Haves

·        Familiarity with hyperscaler standards (Google, Meta, AWS, Microsoft).

·        Knowledge of TIA 942, Uptime Tier, or ASHRAE TC 9.9 guidelines.

·        Ability to script analytics in Power BI, Excel VBA, or Python.
