Millwright
Location: On-site in Cleveland, OH (travel required)
A specialized engineering and manufacturing firm, known for its innovation in shielding and cleanroom solutions, is actively seeking a skilled Millwright – Field Installation & Fabrication Technician. This role is key to delivering critical infrastructure components across highly regulated industries including healthcare, defense, and advanced manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Field Services:

Travel to customer sites across the U.S. to perform installation and alignment of large, engineered door systems and shielding equipment.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to assemble and install components to precise tolerances.
- Collaborate with field teams and site supervisors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Fabrication & Shop Prep:
- Support the in-house fabrication team with component prep, welding, and mechanical assembly ahead of project deployments.
- Assist with material handling, rigging, and staging for both local builds and off-site installations.
Safety & Quality Control:
- Follow OSHA regulations and internal safety standards both on-site and in-shop.
- Conduct installation checks and help ensure all deliverables meet quality benchmarks before sign-off.
Logistics & Travel:
- Be comfortable with a dynamic travel schedule, including short-notice deployments lasting multiple days or weeks.
- Work closely with project coordinators to optimize logistics, reduce downtime, and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Based in the greater Cleveland, OH area or able to commute reliably to a central facility.
- Significant hands-on experience in mechanical installation, fabrication, or field assembly roles - ideally involving large equipment or engineered structures.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and alignment equipment.
- Able to read and work from complex technical documents and blueprints.
- Journeyman certification in Millwright or equivalent field experience is highly desirable.
- Must be physically fit for lifting, working in confined spaces, heights, and extended periods of standing.
