Account Executive, Retail Display & Packaging Solutions
Location: Remote (preference for candidates based in Ventura County, CA or the greater Midwest to best serve existing customers)
An employee-owned packaging innovator is rapidly scaling its corrugated “brown-box” division and is seeking a proven Strategic Account Executive to catapult growth. You’ll combine your existing $3 million-plus book of business with the company’s award-winning design, manufacturing, and logistics engine to deliver right-sized, sustainable packaging programs for iconic brands. Focus:
- Grow top-line revenue for POP displays, corrugated packaging, and related services by cultivating new logos and expanding existing accounts.
- Leverage an active book of business valued at $3 million+ annually to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Build, forecast, and manage a robust pipeline using modern CRM tools, ensuring timely progression from prospecting to close.
- Collaborate with internal design, estimating, and production teams to deliver solutions that balance creativity, cost, and speed-to-market.
- Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events to build brand visibility and uncover new opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and long-term agreements that protect margin while exceeding customer expectations.
- Provide ongoing account management, quickly resolving issues and driving repeat and referral business.
Skill Set:
- 5+ years of B2B sales success in POP displays, retail packaging, corrugated, or closely related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to transfer or influence a book of business worth $3 million or more in annual revenue.
- Strong track record of winning enterprise and mid-market accounts across CPG, food & beverage, cosmetics, electronics, or similar verticals.
- Solid understanding of production workflows, pricing models, and supply-chain dynamics for display and packaging programs.
- Proficiency with CRM, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and virtual meeting platforms.
- Willingness to travel for key customer engagements, trade shows, and quarterly team meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing relationships with big-box retailers, club stores, or national consumer brands.
- Experience selling value-added services such as design, kitting, fulfillment, or 3PL.
- Knowledge of sustainability trends and how they influence packaging decisions.
