Accounting Manager
Location: On-Site in Centennial, CO
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday 45-50 per week, with occasional spikes during close

About the Opportunity
Our client is a $600M-plus clean-energy services provider that has recently relocated its headquarters to the Denver metro and is embarking on an enterprise-wide finance transformation. With revenue projected to cross the $1B threshold within the next three years, they are rebuilding the accounting function from the ground up and need a hands-on leader to bring structure, rigor, and innovation to a rapidly scaling organization.
What You’ll Tackle
- Own monthly and quarterly close activities - including balance-sheet reconciliations and eliminations - for a portfolio of 20+ operating entities, driving a continuous reduction in close timelines.
- Coach and mentor a staff of six accounting professionals, setting clear goals, upskilling the bench, and promoting a culture of accuracy and accountability.
- Serve as accounting lead on a new cloud ERP rollout (Microsoft Dynamics 365), audit readiness (independent and ESOP), and process documentation initiatives.
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure adherence to US GAAP, with specific focus on ASC 606 (revenue) and ASC 842 (leases).
- Partner with FP&A and operations leaders to interpret financial results, investigate anomalies, and recommend corrective actions that support aggressive growth goals.
- Identify and execute workflow improvements to streamline reconciliations, consolidations, and reporting in a fast-paced, lightly documented environment.
What You Bring
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-entity consolidations and complex projects in a high-growth, PE-backed or similarly dynamic setting.
- Deep working knowledge of GAAP (ASC 606 & 842 a must) and strong analytical skills.
- Track record of guiding ERP migrations or major system enhancements (Dynamics 365 or similar preferred).
- CPA or equivalent credential valued but not required.
